Halfway There.

This past weekend wasn't bad. I did pretty well with my eating and I think I have def improved on snacking - esp on the food Steve brings around. I think My Fitness Pal is responsible for that. As far as working out went, this past week I worked out Mon through Fri and took Sat and Sun off. I really did want to work out one of those days but it just never happened. I am kind of disappointed in myself, however I did spend a lot of the weekend cleaning and re-organizing my bedroom which took many hours so It's not like I just sat on my butt all weekend and did nothing. Overall if I could have another week like this past week I would be happy.

This week marks our halfway point. We have completed 5 weeks and have about 5 more to go (before the mud run that is... I still want to continue this journey after the mud run is over). After weighing myself Sun morning the scale said I was down about 4 pounds total so far. Wish is was more but at least the number is dropping. Still don't see much of a change in myself but I feel that will take a while. Today when I get home from work, I really need to buckle down and get back into the weekly routine. I always feel like I lose steam as I come off the weekend because that's when rest, so I just need to get motivated and really work HARD this week!!!

Here is a motivational story to kick off the week...

Also - Another thing I've been thinking about:
Do I want to look like this next summer?

OR THIS???

THINK ABOUT WHERE YOU WILL BE IN A YEAR!
In a year I will be getting ready to go into my senior year of college. Why not make my last year my best year??? It's ALL in my control. I can do this if I really want to.
- Sop being lazy!
- Keep eating right and making good choices!
- Keep working out 5-6 times/wk!
- THIS IS POSSIBLE!!!! I JUST NEED TO WORK FOR IT!
